Diet (What to feed Dexter's?)

Dexter's are good browsers and  will  rid
pastures of plants that are considered pest in
nature. They are specialized to live on
low-quality vegetation and to forage for their
food. Yet these wonderful animals provide high
quality beef.

A Dexter cow can produce more milk for its
weight than any other breed, averaging 1.5-2.5
gallons  per day!

The Dexter females will assist with care of the
calfs, as you can see below one of our new
mommas is "watching" two other baby dexters
.
